What Do I Do Now?

University is over, I've graduated, now what on Earth do I do? The world is my oyster and I can't decide. This is a thought a lot of people have had after university or college and it is definitely one I am having. Although I have some sort of plan for the near future, I actually have no idea what I really want to do for a career. All I know is I do not want to end up in a job where I dread to go in everyday and let it suck the soul from my body. A teacher, graphic designer, advertiser, social media executive, all of these have been whirring around my head as enjoyable career prospects but nothing so far has really truly stuck with me.

But all is not lost! Sometimes not knowing what you want to do leads you to something new and exciting that you never knew existed before. Doing the hobby you love can open up doors to new opportunities. As an avid blogger myself the joys of blogging lead me to have the opportunity to work for Soap & Glory as a Digital Ambassador. This experience opened my eyes to the digital marketing industry and I learnt a hefty lot about Soap & Glory as well, with it becoming one of my favourite brands to this day. Never in a million years did I think I would be working for Soap & Glory but yet it happened which leads me to believe that hard work, even if it doesn't feel like work, pays off and everything happens for a reason.

I may not have a clear vision of what I want to do as a career just right now but everything always falls into place if you let it. I am a firm believer that things always turn out for the best if you work hard and also if luck is on your side. It is okay to not know what you want to do right away; some people only find out what they really want to do when they are in their 40's whilst in a career they have worked in for 20 years. So, for now I think I won’t stress too much about where life is going to take me and just enjoy what I love to do and enjoy the present.
